We saw cut the damaged panel on the existing joint lines. Cutting on the joint keeps the repair invisible and stops cracks from running into good concrete.
The old panel comes out and gets loaded straight onto the truck. Then we dig out any soft or washed out material below it.
We rebuild the base with clean crushed stone and compact it in lifts. This is the step that decides whether the repair lasts two years or twenty.
Then we set steel where the panel needs it, pour our 4500 PSI mix, and screed it flush with the slabs on either side. Height and pitch have to match exactly.
We finish to match the existing driveway, usually a broom finish, and cut or tool the joints. Stay off it for the time we tell you and it will blend right in.
